Legacy of our Founder Members – As the 1st Branch of the NCCYW this was inaugurated on 10th July 1966 presided by the then President of the Council Dr. L.O. Abeyratne. Throughout the past 50 years seven Executive Councils chaired by their Presidents have given their best to promote the wellbeing of these underpriviledged boys and their families providing Residential and Educational facilities.

Today it gives Shelter, Comfort and Special Education including Vocational Training,

esthetic Studies to 45 boys ranging from 5 to 19 yrs. On many occasions the boys have excelled in their activities bringing recognition to NAVODAYA and NCCYW.
